As the window, door, and skylight industry continues to evolve, WDMA is updating the structure and focus of several of its signature events to better support advocacy, engagement, and leadership across the membership.
These changes are designed to clarify the purpose of each event, expand participation, and align WDMA’s convenings with the growing sophistication of the association’s work on behalf of its members.
Spring Legislative Conference Becomes the WDMA Advocacy Summit
To maximize the impact of WDMA’s advocacy efforts in Washington, D.C., the former Spring Legislative Conference and Membership Meeting will be separated into two distinct events.
The legislative-focused portion will now be known as the WDMA Advocacy Summit. This evolution reflects the growth and complexity of WDMA’s advocacy agenda and the need for a more focused, immersive experience when engaging with policymakers and regulators. The Advocacy Summit will deliver targeted content and experiences designed to advance the industry’s federal priorities.

Membership Meeting Transitions to a Virtual Annual Format
The Membership Meeting will now become the WDMA Annual Membership Meeting and will be held online in March, with the specific date to be announced in the coming days.
Moving the meeting online allows more member company leaders to participate in association governance. During the Annual Membership Meeting, WDMA will conduct the standard business members expect, including elections and organizational updates.
WDMA will also introduce OnBoard, a new portal for board and committee engagement, to manage board elections. Each member company will continue to receive one vote, with ballot access provided to the designated primary contact. To encourage participation, balloting may open prior to the meeting and close on or before the meeting date.
