WDMA Request for Speaker Proposals


Submit Your Education Session Proposal

WDMA is soliciting professional education speakers for a wide variety of topics that can inform, educate and motivate window and door manufacturers by providing them with new information and market insight which can improve their businesses and grow the window, door and skylight industry. Speakers will have an opportunity to reach professionals from the leading window, door and skylight companies throughout North America! 

WDMA is looking for dynamic speakers who can engage audiences through interactive discussions that encourage the audience to participate. Past conferences have covered a wide range of topics from understanding the wide range of legislative and regulatory requirements to current trends in the market place and potential future opportunities based on construction forecasting and new technology.

We welcome all topics related to the window, door and skylight industry and are particularly interested in speakers who are well versed in the following topics.  

  • Building, Energy Efficiency and Life Safety Codes
  • Energy and Environmental Regulations 
  • Green Building Standards & Rating Programs
  • Emerging Trends and Technology
  • Operation and Manufacturing Planning
  • Advancements in Logistics, Equipment and Material Handling 
  • Certification and Quality Assurance

Typically, we keep all sessions limited to one-hour in length. We do make exceptions depending on the subject matter and the amount of material to be covered in the session. Please be aware that at the conclusion of the conference, WDMA will collect all of the speakers education session materials and make them available to all of our members. In order for our education committees to select the best education session for our conferences, all session abstracts should be submitted no later than 90 days before the event.

Legislative Conference

WDMA’s Legislative Conference is the signature policy-making event, comprised of advocacy and education, including a day to conduct in-person meetings with your representatives for members to make their voice heard during pre-organized Hill visits. This fast-paced conference features conversations with Members of Congress, agency leaders, political strategists. From main stage keynote presentations to panel discussions and networking sessions, you won’t want to miss a minute of this program.

National Architectural Door Conference

WDMA is proud to announce the launch of registration for the 2018 National Architectural Door Conference May 7 -8, co-located with DHI ConNextions at the Baltimore Convention Center. 
Discussion will highlight the opportunities and potential of the latest advanced manufacturing solutions available today. Participate in leading-edge conversation on emerging technologies, applications, standards development, and a wide range of architectural door topics of interest to the architectural door community (manufacturers, suppliers, and distributors). 
June 19 - 21  

Technical & Manufacturing Conference

The program is comprised of two and a half days of informative sessions, organized into two general tracks – one related to product performance, emerging product technologies and environmental compliance, and the second focusing on manufacturing processes, plant safety, and workforce issues.

Executive Management Conference

The WDMA Executive Conference is the only conference where senior management teams from the industry's leading companies - representing the entire supply chain - gather to understand and address cross-enterprise challenges. Here's where you can gain access to industry experts and knowledge, forge the relationships that can make a real difference, and learn how to remove roadblocks to success. This key conference comes just in time for 2018 strategic planning, offering macro and micro economic forecast data and an industry-specific, results-oriented program.

Expected attendees include leading decision makers and professionals actively involved in growing businesses within manufacturing, distribution and logistics industries.
