WDMA Launches Initiative to Promote High-Performance Windows, Doors & Skylights
Builders, architects and remodelers now have a new trusted resource when designing, specifying, and selecting high-performance windows, doors and skylights. The Window & Door Manufacturers Association (WDMA) has launched a new initiative called Open Up to Performance™ to offer a wide variety of educational and informative content, including a new website, OpenUptoPerformance.com, which contains blog posts, videos, podcasts and webinars, created and curated by industry experts. It will be supported by a robust social media campaign.

The website is intended to help residential builders and remodelers, as well as residential and commercial architects and specifiers make informed decisions about their customers’ windows, doors and skylights. Click here to read the full press release.

Registration Now Open: Spring Meeting & Legislative Conference
Our 2020 Legislative Conference will be held March 23 - 25, at the Westin City Center Hotel in Washington, D.C. WDMA’s Legislative Conference is the signature policy-making event, comprised of advocacy and education, including a day to conduct in-person meetings with your representatives for members to make their voice heard during pre-organized Hill visits.

This fast-paced conference features conversations with Members of Congress, agency leaders, and political strategists. From main stage keynote presentations to panel discussions and networking sessions, you won’t want to miss a minute of this program. WDMA Criticizes Decision to Reinstate Steel and Aluminum Tariffs on Argentina and Brazil
WDMA strongly criticized the announcement by President Trump that his Administration will reinstate Section 232 tariffs on steel and aluminum imports from Argentina and Brazil, which had been previously excluded. Call for Content: 2020 Technical & Manufacturing Conference
WDMA is looking forward to their Annual Technical & Manufacturing Conference, to be held next June 9-11, in Minneapolis! As we develop the program, we are looking to you, our members, to contribute ideas for speakers and educational sessions

This is an opportunity to submit ideas for sessions and speakers via this online form on the WDMA website. Please note you do not need to personally speak on or be responsible for the session. All ideas are welcome, and we encourage you to share the call for content with non-members, as well. The deadline to submit is Friday, February 21st. Click here for more information
