WDMA Test Method Ballots
WDMA TM-6, Test Method for Determining the Durability of Adhesives Used in Doors under Accelerated Aging Conditions
WDMA TM-7, Test Method for Determining the Physical Endurance of Wood Doors & Associated Hardware Connections under Accelerated Operating Conditions
WDMA TM-8, Test Method for Determining Hinge Loading Resistance of Wood Door Stiles
WDMA TM-10, Test Method for Determining the Screw Holding Capacity of Wood Doors
WDMA TM-6, TM-7, TM-8 and TM-10 are now open for ballot. The WDMA Technical Manual requires that these WDMA test methods, currently dated 2008, be revised, reaffirmed or withdrawn at the end of their 5-year anniversary. These test methods are referenced within ANSI/WDMA I.S.1A-13 and ANSI/WDMA I.S6A-13.
The 2014(draft) versions of these test methods contain no technical changes. They have, however, been revised by:
1. Updating the TM publication date and copyright to 2014
2. Updating references to any ASTM, ANSI, BHMA and DHI standards to their most current editions
3. Updating the WDMA Chicago and Washington DC address information.
