Standard Practice for the Installation of Mounting Flange Windows into Walls Utilizing Foam Plastic Insulating Sheathing (FPIS) with a Separate Water-Resistive Barrier (WRB)
A ballot on a the draft #10 FMA/WDMA/AAMA Standard Practice for the Installation of Mounting Flange Windows into Walls Utilizing Foam Plastic Insulating Sheathing (FPIS) with a Separate Water-Resistive Barrier (WRB) is now open for comment. This standard practice encompasses procedures for the installation of windows into walls utilizing foam plastic insulating sheathing (FPIS); and addresses installations for residential and light commercial buildings of not more than three stories above grade plane in height.
WDMA is developing this standard cooperation with AAMA and FMA. Even if you plan to submit a ballot to either of the other two organizations, please submit your ballot to WDMA as well, so that we can achieve the appropriate number of consensus responses.
