JDMG Technical Interpretation to NAFS-11 on Test Specimen Installation.
A ballot on a technical interpretation of AAMA/WDMA/CSA 101/I.S.2/A440 - 11 is now open for comment. This interpretation seeks clarification for the testing laboratories, when details in the manufacturers installation instructions conflict with the ability of the lab to properly conduct the testing, especially with regard to observation of perimeter water leakage into the wall cavity.
WDMA is developing this technical interpetation cooperation with AAMA and CSA, and all three organizations are balloting this item simultaneously. Even if you plan to submit a ballot to either of the other two organizations, please submit your ballot to WDMA as well, so that we can achieve the appropriate number of consensus responses.
